The American Chemistry Council (ACC) filed a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency’s (U.S. EPA) revision of Lifetime Health Advisories (LHAs) for PFOA and PFOS. The argument was given that the revisions reflect the agency’s failure to follow its accepted practice for ensuring the scientific integrity of its process.
