Australia chemicals inventory updated with entry of new chemicals in August-September 2022

Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals has been updated. The newly added chemicals are- |

  1. Castor oil, polymer with glycerol, Me methacrylate, pentaerythritol, phthalic anhydride and styrene;
  2. Sulfuric acid, dimethyl ester, reaction products with polyethylene-polypropylene glycol (used as an alkylating agent and an immunosuppressive agent);
  3. Glycine, N-(1-oxododecyl)-, sodium salt (1:1) (used as an anionic surfactant);
  4. 2-Propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, polymer with butyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate, ethenylbenzene, 2-hydroxyethyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate, methyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate and 2-methylpropyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate (used in food packaging films);
  5. Cellulose, nitrate, polymer with butyl 2-propenoate, 1,1-dimethylethyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate, ethenylbenzene, 2-hydroxyethyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate, 5-isocyanato-1-(isocyanatomethyl)-1,3,3-trimethylcyclohexane, methyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate and 2-methylpropyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate, tert-Bu 2-ethylhexaneperoxoate-initiated;
  6. Poly(oxy-1,2-ethanediyl), .alpha.-hydro-.omega.-hydroxy-, ether with 4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,9,9,9-tridecafluoro-1,2-nonanediol.
