Assembly Bill 2146 (AB-2146) was introduced in the state legislature of California in February 2022 and was passed by both the Senate and the Assembly in August 2022. If and when signed by the Governor of California, the law will be effective from January 2024 whereby neonicotinoids in pesticides will be banned for non-agricultural use.
