China: Containers of hazardous chemicals in Shandong will bear a barcode informing about safety information from October 2022

From October 30, 2022, the Emergency Management Office of China's Shandong province will be fully implementing the “one company, one item, one code” plan of hazardous chemical management using two-dimensional barcodes. As per this plan, producers and importers of hazardous chemicals in Shandong province will be required to attach a safety information barcode (two-dimensional barcode) to each hazardous chemical container.
