ECHA: Public comments sought on CLH classification of 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one hydrochloride; 2-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1,2-thiazol-3-one hydrochloride

ECHA is seeking public comments on proposed harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) of 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one hydrochloride; 2-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1,2-thiazol-3-one hydrochloride (used in biocides and laboratory chemicals for its preservative properties). The substance is suspected to be carcinogen, meutagen, reprotoxic, skin irritant, eye irritant, suspected to cause harm to specific organs, etc. Public comments can be submitted by January 13, 2023.
