Health Canada warns of health risks upon use of certain hand sanitizers

Health Canada has issued warning against use of certain hand sanitizers which may pose health risks. The reasons for these sanitizing products are being identified to be risky for human health are containing (or possibly containing) non-permitted ingredients by Health Canada, containing undeclared impurities at elevated levels, improper labelling, missing risk statements, not being authorized for sale in Canada, being sold without proper product testing, being counterfeit, or having defective or faulty packaging.
