Philippines: Updated Guidelines on the Regulation of Operators of Pest Control, Certification of Pesticide Handlers, and Accreditation of Their Training Providers

On September 22, 2022, the Philippines FDA published the Amendment to Administrative Order No. 2019-0010, entitled “Guidelines on the Regulation of Operators of Pest Control, Certification of Pesticide Handlers, and Accreditation of Their Training Providers”. This amendment includes updated guidelines for the application of disinfectants for pest control or implementation of a vermin abatement program among the pest control activities of a Pest Control Operator (PCO).
