South Korea expected to revise quantity limits for toxic substances requiring submission under Chemical Accident Prevention Management Plan

In order to get feedback from the public on the changes to the stipulated quantities for toxic substances, restricted substances, prohibited substances, and substances subject to Authorization, South Korea's Ministry of Environment (MoE) published MoE Notification No. 2022-645 on November 21, 2022. The deadline for comments is December 12, 2022. For submitting a chemical accident prevention management plan, upper and lower handling amounts for 11 dangerous compounds will be set that were identified in October 2022.
