Taiwan EPA to strictly prohibit and limit the use of organotin and strengthen the source management of chemical substances

Organotin compounds such as triphenyltin are used in the production of biocides. The Environmental Protection Agency of Taiwan and the Agricultural Committee of Taiwan cooperated to prevent counterfeit pesticides, strengthened the operation and management of organotin compounds, revised the "Scheduled Toxic Chemical Substances and Their Operation and Management Items", and banned tributyltin oxide and chloride in accordance with international control trends.
