Tianjin Municipality seeks public comments on draft measures setting limits on pollutant discharge

In order to further strengthen the control of total pollutant emissions, efficiently and rationally allocate environmental resources, support and ensure high-quality development, continue to reduce the total amount of pollutant emissions, and improve the quality of the ecological environment, according to the major administrative decision-making arrangements of the municipal government, the Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment has studied and drafted the "Tianjin Municipal Measures for the Control of Total Pollutant Emissions", and is now open to the public for comments. The public comment period is from September 14, 2022 to October 13, 2022, and the general public, enterprises, public institutions, and social groups are welcome to submit valuable opinions and suggestions by telephone or email.
