European civil society organisations launch manifesto calling to phase out PFAS use in consumer products by 2025

On October 12, 2022, a manifesto calling for EU Member States and the Commission to urgently ban PFAS, the ‘forever chemicals’, in consumer products by 2025 (and across all uses by 2030) was launched bu European civil society organisations. CHEM Trust, alongside 45 European civil society organisations, are now demanding fulfilment of the commitment of phasing out PFAS chemicals as mentioned in the EU's Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability announced two years back.
