OEHHA Update on Proposition 65 Risk Level for Ethylene Oxide

The  Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA)updated Proposition 65, which states that there is no significant risk level for ethylene oxide in the Cal. Code of Regs., Title 27, Section 25705(b)(1). The first suggested update to the NSRL was restricted to the inhalation route, and a different NSRL was proposed for the oral route. The revised proposal is based on feedback from April 2023 and existing scientific research. Public commenting on the amendment of a document to the rulemaking file was opened, with the deadline pushed back to January 17, 2024
