IInvenTiv-2024, India's premier R&D innovation fair held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad, has completed its second edition, marking an important milestone. The event saw the formalization of a Technology Transfer Agreement between IIT Hyderabad and E-Spin Nanotech. This cooperation seeks to test commercial applications of cellulose-based nanofiber feminine hygiene products. The breakthrough technology, which replaces non-biodegradable extremely absorbent polymers with eco-friendly nanofibers in traditional feminine hygiene products, is ready for commercialization. This invention solves biodegradation and health concerns, resulting in a more sustainable and environmentally friendly feminine hygiene product.
