Notification of designation of existing biocidal substances subject to approval suspension

National Institute of Environmental Research has made public in order to inform the public and seek opinion on the purpose and contents of the draft amendment to the "Designation of Existing Biocidal Substances Subject to Suspension of Approval."

Existing biocidal compounds subject to approval deferment also include those that were reported in accordance with Article 18 (3) of the modified "Act on the Safety Management of Household Chemical Products and Biocides" (enacted on March 24, 2020). The designation of current biocidal drugs subject to delay of approval is expected to be lifted in accordance with Article 19 Paragraph 3, etc. 

By December 23, 2022, people or organizations/groups with opinions on the partial amendment (draft) of the notification of "Designation of Existing Biocidal Substances Subject to Suspension of Approval" must send a written statement stating the following to the following addresses: 032-560-8475, 032-568-2039, and rlaalsrnr77@korea.kr.
