Revised harmonised classification and labelling of 3-aminopropyldimethylamine

On January 15,2024, ECHA updated Austria Intention to submit  3-aminopropyldimethylamine for toxic if swallowed and come in contact with skin, cause severe skin burn and eye damage, skin irritation, damage fertility, respiratory irritation.

 According to the harmonised classification and labelling approved by the European Union, this substance causes severe skin burns and eye damage, is a flammable liquid and vapour, is harmful if swallowed and may cause an allergic skin reaction.

Additionally, the classification provided by companies to ECHA in REACH registrations identifies that this substance causes serious eye damage, is harmful in contact with skin and may cause respiratory irritation
