Nickel

The Central Government of India has issued an order, known as the Nickel (Quality Control) Order, 2023, which applies to goods or article specified in the Schedule annexed to the Order, but does not apply to goods or article meant for export.

Despite widespread awareness that nickel may trigger skin allergies, the metal is often found in items that come into direct contact with human skin. An allergy's likelihood depends on how much nickel is actually absorbed by the skin.
