Proposal for the amendments of the maximum residue limits (MRLs) for the agricultural chemical: Glyphosate are:
For Oat, Proposed MRL (mg/kg) is 30 and Current MRL (mg/kg) is 20,
For Barley, Proposed MRL (mg/kg) is 30 and Current MRL (mg/kg) is 20,
For Wheat, Proposed MRL (mg/kg) is 30 and Current MRL (mg/kg) is 5,
For Maize, Proposed MRL (mg/kg) is 5 and Current MRL (mg/kg) is 1,
For Milo, Proposed MRL (mg/kg) is 30 and Current MRL (mg/kg) is 20,
For Rye, Proposed MRL (mg/kg) is 30 and Current MRL (mg/kg) is 0.2,
For Hay, Proposed MRL (mg/kg) is 500 and Current MRL (mg/kg) is 120,
For Soybean, Proposed MRL (mg/kg) is 20 and Current MRL (mg/kg) is -,
For Soybean meal, Proposed MRL (mg/kg) is 9 and Current MRL (mg/kg) is -
Current Maximum Residue Limits solely apply to glyphosate residue. The residue definition of the proposed MRLs for regulation: Glyphosate and N-acetylglyphosate together, expressed as glyphosate, for corn, soybeans, and soybean meal; glyphosate alone for all other crops. In addition to hay and fodder (dry), hay may also refer to straw, forage (green), and silage. The Maximum Allowable Concentration (MRL) is established at 90% dry matter.
