ANSES propose risk management for 1,3-diphenylguanidine (DPG) under RMA

France's Agency for Food, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety (ANSES) has conducted Regulatory Management Options Assessment (RMOA) for the chemical 1,3-Diphenylguanidine (DPG). It focus on assessing and managing the hazards associated with DPG, which is predominantly used as a vulcanization accelerator in the rubber industry. Through RMOA, ANSES plans to thoroughly assess skin sensitisation, neurotoxicity and endocrine disruption properties of DPG. The public consultation being carried out 01-Dec-2023 to 29-Dec-2023.
