Compliance Date and Requirements for Industrial Use Mixture Notifications under CLP Regulation

The January 01, 2024 compliance date for poison centre notifications mandates that all new notifications for mixtures for industrial use must adhere to the harmonised format in Annex VIII of the CLP Regulation, including a UFI code on the label. ECHA reminds companies to assess their notification status and check timelines for having the information in the required harmonised format. Companies that have existing notifications submitted according to national requirements can benefit from the transition period ending January 01, 2025. If changes occur during this period, information must be submitted in the new format through the ECHA submission portal.
