On January 15, 2024, ECHA started a 45 day public commenting period (i.e till February 29, 2024) on Trimethylolpropane and its reaction products with methyloxirane, which is under testing proposal by REACH regulation.
Based on Vertebrate testing (in-vivo), this substance proposed to poses long term toxicity to fish.
This substances used in machine wash liquids/detergents, fragrances and air fresheners.
