On September 02, 2022, ECHA added barium diboron tetraoxide into its substances of very high concern (SVHC) identification list as per the proposal of Sweden. It has thining properties and is used as paint remover. The chemical is being claimed to be reprotoxic. Public comments are sought till October 17, 2022.
