ECHA: Reaction mass of 2,2,3,3,5,5,6,6-octafluoro-4-(1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropan-2-yl)morpholine and 2,2,3,3,5,5,6,6-octafluoro-4-(heptafluoropropyl)morpholine added to SVHC identification list

On September 02, 2022, ECHA added reaction mass of 2,2,3,3,5,5,6,6-octafluoro-4-(1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropan-2-yl)morpholine and 2,2,3,3,5,5,6,6-octafluoro-4-(heptafluoropropyl)morpholine into its substances of very high concern (SVHC) identification list as per the proposal of Belgium. The chemical is being claimed to be very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB). Public comments are sought till October 17, 2022.
