Guidance for Identification and Naming of Substances under REACH and CLP

This document discusses REACH and CLP substance naming and identification. One of a series of advice publications to assist stakeholders prepare for REACH and CLP Regulations responsibilities. These materials provide thorough information for a variety of critical REACH and CLP procedures and certain scientific and technical methodologies that industry or authorities must utilize. REACH Implementation Projects (RIPs) headed by the European Commission services included all stakeholders, including Member States, industry, and non-governmental organizations, in the development and discussion of guidance texts.
