New Proposal to Harmonize Classification and Labelling of 2,2'-Iminodiethanol

On December 13, 2023 ECHA updated Germany intention to submit 2,2'-iminodiethanol  as acute toxicant, skin irritant, cause damage to skin, carcinogenic and damage reproductive system.

According to the harmonised classification and labelling approved by the European Union, this substance causes serious eye irritation.

Additionally, the classification provided by companies to ECHA in REACH registrations identifies that this substance is a flammable liquid and vapour, is suspected of damaging fertility or the unborn child and may cause respiratory irritation.
