Public comments sought on NI Chemical Industry

WSP Environment & Infrastructure Solutions has been hired by the Department of Agriculture, Environment, and Rural Affairs of Northern Ireland (DAERA) to perform a study for the analysis of the chemicals industry in Northern Ireland (NI).

The investigation will focus on the production, import, and export of chemicals in certain subsectors of the Northern Ireland chemical industry; the use of chemicals in certain subsectors of the Northern Ireland chemical industry; and the possibility that the EU and UK have different rules for chemicals in the NI chemical industry.
