On January 15,2024, ECHA updated Germany Intention to submit Bis(4-methylbenzoyl)peroxide as Organic peroxide.
Whereas, According to the harmonised classification and labelling approved by the European Union, this substance is very toxic to aquatic life, is very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects and if heated may cause a fire or explosion.
