On January 15,2024, ECHA updated Czech Republic Intention to submit Malathion as Aquatic (Acute & Chronic) toxicant and allergic to skin. According to the harmonised classification and labelling approved by the European Union, this substance is very toxic to aquatic life, is very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects, is harmful if swallowed and may cause an allergic skin reaction.
