January 18, 2024

From January 22 to February 26, 2024, the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Environment Corporation will take proposals for the "Chemical Safety Workplace Creation Support Project" to improve their aged hazardous chemical handling facilities, such as discharge walls.

It seeks to manage hazardous chemicals and supports the cost of updating facilities to prevent hazardous chemical leaks, as well as aging storage facilities and pipelines. Furthermore, the support includes the installation of static electricity removal facilities, ventilation and discharge facilities, and barriers, flooring, and water collection facilities required for workplace safety management, as well as barriers to prevent harmful chemicals from flowing to the outside at the loading and unloading zones.
